Abstract:

V této bakalářské diplomové práci se zaměřuji na tvorbu českého rokokového malíře Jana Antonína Vocáska Hrošeckého, který se proslavil především malbou drobných loveckých zátiší. Tento umělec žil a působil v první polovině 18. století v Rychnově nad Kněžnou a okolí, kde se dnes také nachází většina jeho děl. Ve své práci představuji kompletní doposud známé Vocáskovo dílo, včetně křížové cesty, která nebyla doposud nikde publikována. Poukazuji na umělcovy inspirační zdroje, nastiňuji vývojové tendence v malířově tvorbě a v závěru okrajově zmiňuji dobové reakce na Vocáskovu malbu.

Abstract:

The aim of this thesis is to introduce the work and life of Czech rococo painter Jan Antonín Vocásek Hrošecký, who became famous for his small hunting still lifes. This artist lived and worked in the first half of the 18th century in Rychnov nad Kněžnou and its surroundings, where most of his works of art are located now. The thesis mainly focuses on the presentation and description of a complete Vocásek’s previously known work, also including his Way of the Cross, which has not been published yet. It deals with the trends in painter's work and presents substantial referring sources of artists’ inspirations. The final part of the thesis marginally mentions current responses to Vocásek’s paintings.
