The influence of inhalation of concentrated oxygen on reaction time and agility test at the major league players hockeyball.

Abstract:

Bakalářská práce je zaměřena na vliv inhalace koncentrovaného kyslíku na změnu reakční doby a výkonu v agility testu u hráčů hokejbalu. V teoretické části práci jsem se zaměřil na charakteristiku hokejbalu jako sportu. Dále jsem popsal koncentrovaný kyslík, konkrétní přípravek Oxyfit a jeho možné využití. Závěrečnou pasáž teoretické části jsem věnoval reakční době a agility testu. V praktické části práce jsem se věnoval samotnému měření jednotlivých probandů. K výzkumu byl použit reaktometr a příslušný software, který měřil reakční dobu při reakci na vizuální a taktilní podnět. Cílem práce bylo ověřit vliv inhalace koncentrovaného kyslíku na hodnotu reakční doby a výkonu v agility testu u testovaných probandů. Na základě provedených měření a statistických výpočtů jsem došel k závěru, že vliv koncentrovaného kyslíku je zanedbatelný. Z uvedeného hlediska konstatuji, že aplikace koncentrovaného kyslíku, není pro snížení reakční doby a zvýšení výkonu u hráčů hokejbalu významná.

Abstract:

Bachelor´s thesis is focused on the effect of inhalation of concentrated oxygen to change the reaction time and performance in agility test for street hockey players. I focused on the characteristics of street hockey as a sport in the theoretical part of the thesis. I also described the concentrated oxygen product, specific Oxyfit and its potential use. I dedicated response time and agility test at final passage of the theoretical part. In the practical part I have devoted himself measurement of individual subjects. For research was used meter of reaction time and appropriate software, which measured the reaction time in response to visual and tactile impuls. The target was to test the effect of inhalation of concentrated oxygen to reaction time and performance in agility test on the tested subjects. Based on the measurements and statistical calculations, I concluded, that the effect of concentrated oxygen is negligible. From this perspective, I note, that the application of concentrated oxygen is to reduce the reaction time and increasing the performance not significant for the players streethockey.
