Reflection of Islam in Works of Mircea Eliade

Abstract:

Tato práce se soustřeďuje na pojetí islámu v díle Mircei Eliadeho. O jeho pracích bylo napsáno veliké množství odborných studií, přesto pojetí islámu u tohoto autora se žádná z nich nevěnuje. V první části je komplexně představen jeho přístup ke zkoumání náboženství, který je doplněn odbornou kritikou. Druhá část je celkovým souhrnem všech pasáží, které se nějakým způsobem vztahují k islámu. Jsou zde zachyceny stručné pasáže týkající se fenoménů islámu napříč jeho dílem, jež jsou představeny v kontextu problematiky, kterou se na daném místě zabývá. Následně jsou nastíněny dvě kapitoly o islámu z jeho díla Dějiny náboženského myšlení III. Třetí část je analýzou autorova uchopení islámu v porovnání s jinou odbornou literaturou a se sebepochopením této tradice.

Abstract:

This work focus on conception of Islam in works of Mircea Eliade. There have been written huge amount of research studies about his approach, but none of them is attending conception of Islam. There is complexly introduced his opinion to examination of religion in the first part of my work and it is filled in with a classified critiques. Second part of my work is a complete totality of all parts of Mircea Eliade´s work, which refers to Islam. There are recorded brief passages treating on the phenomena of Islam and there is also introduced context of problems that he is concerning about in the exact parts throughout his work. Consequently, there are inroduced two chapters about Islam from his book A History of Religious Ideas vol.III, in the rest of the part. Third part of my work is an analysis of authors conception of Islam in a comparison both to the other Western research essays and interpretation of this tradition.
