Encaustic painting - Illustration of the Snow Queen

Abstract:

Bakalářská práce pojednává o enkaustice ve dvou rovinách, a to v teoretické a praktické.Vstupní teoretické kapitoly se věnují teoretickému představení výtvarné techniky enkaustiky, jejímu historickému vývoji, vlastnostem materiálu a možnostem využití jejích pomůcek. Současně mají za úkol vymezit téma ilustrace a autorská kniha. V neposlední řadě osvětlují problematiku výtvarného projevu jedince a jeho specifikace v určitém vývojovém období. Praktická část práce je věnována popisu a dokumentaci samotného tvoření. Jsou zde popsány jednotlivé postupy základních kroků práce, ale i popis kroků při ilustrování pohádky, které jsou doprovázené fotodokumentací.

Abstract:

The topic of this bachelor work is the art technique encuastics, which is realised in two levels - the first one is the theoretical part and the second one is the practical part. The initial theoretical chapters are dedicated to the introduction the theoretical face of this art technique, its historical development, the quality of material and the possibilities in using its tools. It strives for specification of "illustration" and "author´s book" simultaneously. And the last but not least it is trying to clear the problems of the human art works and its specifics in the specific evolutionary period. The practical part of my work is dedicated to the description and the documentation of the creativity itself. The particular steps of the basic work methods and the description of the illustration of a fairy tale are described in it. The photo-documentation is enclosed.
