Tato bakalářská práce zkoumá krátkou novelou Henryho Jamese The Turn of the Screw (Utažení šroubu), publikovanou roku 1898 a jejích následných celovečerních adaptací, konkrétně The Innocents (Neviňátka) z roku 1961 režírované Jackem Claytonem a The Turning z roku 2020 režírované Floriou Sigismondi. Abstract:
This bachelor thesis concerns feature film adaptations of Henry James’s short horror novella The Turn of the Screw, published in 1898. The film adaptations in question are The Innocents (1961) directed by Jack Clayton and The Turning (2020) directed by Floria Sigismondi.
