Abstract:

BARTKOVÁ GUREGOVÁ, Dominika: Current state of small and medium enterprises in Slovakia. [Bachelor thesis]. College of Banking Prague, Foreign College Banská Bystrica. Department of Finance and Banking. Supervisor: Ing. Ján Lacek. Year of defense: 2014. Number of pages: 56. The aim of this work is to characterize the importance of small and medium enterprises. Assess the current state of business in Slovakia. Suggest the ways to improve it. The first chapter is divided into five self-confined parts. The first section describes the history of the company. The second part discusses the characteristics and distribution business, changes in business, trade and capital growth of the company. The third part of the first chapter characterizes the entrepreneur and his basic features, differences between entrepreneurs and employees. The fourth part characterizesthefirm, its division. It defines trade, limited partnership, joint-stock company, Limited Liability Company and a public limited partnership. The fifth section describes the importance of small and medium enterprise in national economy, the legal conditions of business, finance and the cost and risk capital. The second part contains the practical part, which analyses the position of small and medium enterprises in Slovak Republic. The third chapter includes assessing the business environment, barriers and prospects of development of small and medium enterprises.

Katedra financií a bankovníctva. Vedúci práce: Ing. Ján Lacek. Rok obhajoby: 2014. Počet strán: 56. Cieľom tejto práce je charakterizovať význam malého a stredného podnikania. Zhodnotiť aktuálny stav podnikania na Slovensku. Navrhnúť možnosti na jeho zlepšenie. Prvá kapitola je rozdelená do piatich ucelených častí. Prvá časť popisuje históriu podnikania. Druhá časť rozoberá charakteristiku a rozdelenie podnikania, zmenami v podnikaní, obchodným imaním a rastom podniku. Tretia časť prvej kapitoly charakterizuje podnikateľa a jeho základné črty, rozdiely medzi podnikateľom a zamestnancom. Štvrtá časť charakterizuje podnik, jeho členenie. Definuje živnosť, komanditnú spoločnosť, akciovú spoločnosť, spoločnosť s ručením obmedzeným a verejnú komanditnú spoločnosť. Piata časť popisuje význam malých a stredných podnikov v národnom hospodárstve, právne predpoklady podnikania, financovanie a náklady a rizikový kapitál. Druhú kapitolu tvorí praktická časť, ktorá analyzuje postavenie malého a stredného podnikania v Slovenskej republike. Tretia kapitola obsahuje zhodnotenie podnikateľského prostredia, bariéry a perspektíva rozvoja malého a stredného podnikania.
