Prevalence of pain and satisfaction with pain management in a residential home for elderly
Abstract:
Diplomová práce zjišťuje jednak prevalenci bolesti a spokojenost s léčbou klientů v domově pro seniory, a jednak názory nelékařského ošetřovatelského personálu na bolest ve stáří a její hodnocení. Šetření bylo provedeno pomocí kvantitativních výzkumných metod. Analýza šetření poskytuje informace o subjektivních názorech klientů a personálu na management bolesti.
Abstract:
Our study explores the prevalence of pain and the satisfaction with pain management among clients of a home for elderly as well as the views of non-medical care providers about pain assesment and pain management in elderly.In our research, qualitative methods have been used. The data analysis provides information about the patient´s and professional´s views about different pain management issues.
