The communication politics in the company and its influence on the competitive strength

Abstract:

Tématem této disertační práce je komunikační politika firem a její vliv na konkurenceschopnost. Hlavním cílem disertační práce je zmapování současného stavu vnější a vnitřní komunikace ve firmách a na základě kvalitativního a kvantitativního výzkumu navrhnout možnosti zkvalitnění vnitřní i vnější komunikační politiky v podnicích, které by vedly ke zvýšení konkurenceschopnosti podniků. Výsledek těchto zjištění by posléze měl vést k vytvoření závěrů, které by bylo možno použít pro zkvalitnění komunikačních kanálů u samotných podniků. V úvodu práce se autor zaměřuje na zmapování současného stavu řešené problematiky v oblastech konkurenceschopnosti i firemní komunikace. V následující části autor definuje cíle a výzkumné otázky disertační práce a také uvádí, jaké metody byly při zpracování disertační práce využity. Hlavní výzkumnou součástí práce je kvantitativní výzkum v jednotlivých podnicích prostřednictvím dotazníkového šetření, analýza těchto výsledků a jejich následné využití při kvalitativním výzkumu. Na základě získaných údajů je určen vliv komunikační politiky na konkurenceschopnost, verifikace výzkumných otázek a návrhy na zlepšení fungování komunikace v podniku. V závěrečné kapitole se soustředí na přínosy práce pro oblast managementu, výzkumné práce, firemní praxe, pedagogické praxe a pro výuku v oboru Marketing management na FaME UTB ve Zlíně.

Abstract:

The topic of the doctoral thesis is communication politics in the companies and its influence on the competitive strength. The main aim of the doctoral thesis is to identify recent status of internal and external communication in the companies and on the basis of qualitative and quantitative analysis propose possibilities enhancement of internal and external communication strategies of the companies, which could result in increasing the competitive strength. Result of these findings should conduce to creation of the final conclusions which should be used for enhancement of the communication flows in the companies. In the first part of thesis the author described recent situation of the investigated problem in area competitive strength and communication politics. In the next part, the author defines the goals and research questions of the doctoral thesis and introduces the methodology used during the dissertation processing. Main part of research is quantitative analysis in all presented companies with help of questionnaire, analysis of returned results and their using during qualitative analysis. On basis of the results there is settled influence of communication politics in the companies on their competitive strength, verification of research questions and give proposals to improvement of communication politics in the companies. The assets for the sphere of management, research works, companies practice, pedagogical´s practice and for a development of Marketing management at FaME UTB in Zlin are described in the last chapter.
