Abstract:

Tato bakalářská diplomová práce se zabývá dispoziční nadějí, smysluplností a depresí a jejich vztahem k subjektivně vnímanému duševnímu a fyzickému zdraví. Dále se též zabývá vztahem dispoziční naděje a vybraných demografických proměnných (pohlaví, věk, rodinný stav, vzdělání). Cílem práce bylo popsat vztahy mezi těmito proměnnými, ověřit, zdali jsou tyto proměnné prediktory subjektivně vnímaného duševního a fyzického zdraví, a následně popsat sílu těchto prediktorů. Práce je rozdělena na dvě části. První z nich, teoretická část, seznamuje čtenáře s jednotlivými fenomény, které byly předmětem našeho zkoumání, a připravuje tak informační základ pro porozumění druhé, empirické části. Ta nabízí přehled analýzy dat získaných v rámci mezinárodního projektu Hope Barometer 2018, kterého se v Česku zůčastnilo 169 respondentů všech věkových skupin, různých typů dosaženého vzdělání či různého rodinného stavu. V rámci Česka tento projekt zprostředkovala doc. PhDr. Alena Slezáčková, PhD. Užitý dotazník sestával z několika různých škál. Pro potřeby této práce byly užity škály Adult Dispositional Hope Scale (ADHS), The Meaning In Life Questionnaire (MLQ) a Patient Health Questionnaire for Depression and Anxiety (PHQ-4). Statistická analýza odhalila statisticky významný negativní vztah deprese a subjektivně vnímaného duševního zdraví (r = 0,632), následně též sub. vn. fyzického zdraví (r = 0,312). Statisticky významný pozitivní vztah byl nalezen také mezi nadějí (r = 0,386), smysluplností (r = 0,310) a sub. vn. duševním zdravím. I ostatní vztahy se ukázaly být signifikantní, vyjma naděje ve vztahu k sub. vn. fyzickému zdraví (r = 0,139). Z demografických proměnných vykázaly signifikantní vztah k dispoziční naději pouze proměnné věku a vzdělání. Oficiální název této práce se liší od jejího finálního, a to z důvodu konkretizace témat, kterými se tato zabývala.

Abstract:

This bachelor diploma thesis deals with dispositional hope, meaningfulness and depression and its relations to subjectively perceived psychological and physical health. It also deals with relation of dispositional hope and selected demographic variables (gender, age, family status, education). The aim of this thesis is to describe relations of these variables, to verify these variables as predictors of subjectively perceived psychological and physical health, and to describe the strength of these predictors. The thesis is devided into two parts. The first of them, theoretical part, familiarizes the reader with particular phenomenons which were subjects of our research and prepares informational foundation for better understanding of the second, empirical part. This part offers an analysis overview of data obtained within the scope of international project Hope Barometer 2018, which was attended by 169 Czech respondents of all age categories, different types of attained education and different family status. This project was mediated by doc. PhDr. Alena Slezáčková, PhD. within the scope of Czechia. Used questionnaire consisted of several different scales. Adult Dispositional Hope Scale (ADHS), The Meaning In Life Questionnaire (MLQ) a Patient Health Questionnaire for Depression and Anxiety (PHQ-4) were used for the needs of this thesis. The statistic analysis showed statistically significant negative relation of depression and subjectively perceived psychological health (r = 0,632), and subjectively perceived physical health (r = 0,312). There have also been found statistically significant positive relation of hope (r = 0,386), meaningfulness (r = 0,310) and subjectively perceived psychological health. Other relations were significant as well, except of relation of hope and subjectively perceived physical health (r = 0,139). The significance of demographic variables towards hope was found only at variables of age and education. An official name of the thesis differs from its final form due to specification of topics it was dealing with.
