Congress hotels on the tourism market in Prague

Abstract:

Hlavním cílem mé bakalářské práce je analýza nabídky kongresových hotelů na trhu cestovního ruchu v Praze a návrh zlepšení stávající nabídky ve zkoumaných hotelech. Výběrový soubor tvoří Clarion Congress Hotel Prague na Vysočanech, Corinthia Hotel Prague na Vyšehradě a Top Hotel Praha na Praze 4. Uvedu chyby C1, kterých se hotely dopouštějí. Dalším dílčím cílem C2 mé bakalářské práce je komparace třech vybraných hotelů a výběr hotelu, který je nejvíce vhodný pro uskutečnění velkokapacitní kongresové akce. A dalším vedlejším úkolem C3 je navrhnutí vhodného zlepšení úrovně zmiňovaných kongresových hotelů.Ve své teoretické části jsem použila zdroje, jako jsou odborné knihy a časopisy a dále důvěryhodné internetové zdroje, které se zabývají cestovním a kongresovým ruchem. V analytické části uvádím informace o vybraných kongresových hotelech. Při analýze použiju i názory a zkušenosti hostů, kteří byli ubytovaný v hotelech. Za pomocí internetových portálů jako je Tripadvisor, Booking.com a Holiday check. Těmto názorům nemohu dát v analýze silnou váhu, protože se nejedná o důvěryhodný zdroj, tudíž uvedu jen pár příkladů pro získání přehledu o názorech respondentů. V této kapitole jsem zhodnotila jednotlivé hotely na základě získaných informací a dat. Díky dopodrobna zpracované analýze vybraných hotelů, jsem vyhodnotila Clarion Congress hotel Prague, jako nejvíce vhodný hotel pro konání velkokapacitní akce. V návrhové části jsem doporučila Corinthia Hotel Prague, aby se zajímal o renovaci okolí hotelu a aby svým zaměstnancům poskytl jazykové kurzy. Top Hotelu Praha jsem navrhla celkovou změnu vzhledu celého komplexu hotelu a také dotazníky pro zjištění spokojenosti hostů, které by pak překládal svým hostům a podle toho by hotel zlepšil své služby.

Abstract:

The main aim of my bachelor thesis is to provide real information about congress hotel in Prague and suggest improvements to the quality of the mentioned congress hotels. My main focus is given to Clarion Congress Hotel Prague in Vysocany, Corinthia Hotel Prague in Vysehrad and Top Hotel Praha in Prague 4. Partial objective of my thesis is to find out what the three selected hotels are the most suitable for the realization of large-scale convention events. A further secondary task is to propose an appropriate level of improvement mentioned congress hotels and state the mistakes committed by hotels. In the theoretical part I present the sources of information, specialized literature or trades and reliable internet sources that deal with congress tourism. I present the information about the chosen hotels in the analytic part. In this chapter I would like to assess particular hotels based on gained information and dates. In the analysis I am going to use the opinions and experience of guest who were accommodated in the hotels, with help of internet portals like Tripadvisor, Booking.com and Holiday check. These opinions don’t have a strong influence, because they are not reliable sources that are why I will note only a few examples to create a small image. In this chapter, I identify the different hotels on the basis of information and data. In the analytical part I focused the main aim of my thesis. With the detail analysis processing of selected hotels, I analyzed the Clarion Congress Hotel Prague, as the most suitable hotel for organizing large-scale events. In the design section, I recommend Corinthia Hotel Prague to wonder about the renovation of the surrounding area and to provide its employees with language courses. Top Hotel Praha I proposed a total change the appearance of the entire hotel complex and questionnaires to determine satisfaction rating, which would then be translated to its guests and according to the hotel to improve its services.
