Netolismus jako dopad pandemie na mladistvé

Abstract:

Práce se zaměřuje na faktory přispívající ke vzniku netolismu a jeho dopady na cílovou skupinu mladistvých. Ke zpracování byly použity zahraniční odborné články a studie. Stanovené cíle: Popsat faktory, které přispívají ke vzniku a rozvoji závislosti na internetu, faktory vzniklé či umocněné pandemií COVID-19 přispívající k závislosti na internetu a dopady této závislosti na sociální stránku života. Ověřit, zda jsou mladiství více náchylní k netolismu. Zmapovat sociální služby nabízející pomoc v oblasti netolismu. Závěr: Možné faktory přispívající ke vzniku závislosti na internetu byly popsány a rozděleny do kategorií - dysfunkční interpersonální vztahy v dětství, osobnostní charakteristiky, aktuální problémová životní situace a internet. Jako možné faktory umocněné pandemií byly shledány především osamělost, sociální izolace a delší doba strávená na internetu v souvislosti s distančním vzděláváním. Faktory teprve vzniklé v souvislosti s pandemií COVID-19 nebyly identifikovány. Za možné sociální dopady netolismu byly shledány - dominance internetu v trávení času, změny v osobnosti, změny ve vztazích, problémy ve vztazích, online cizoložství, ztráta původních sociálních kontaktů, negativní dopady na schopnost komunikace a psychické zdraví, změny hodnot a postojů a vliv na zařazení do společnosti a změna denního režimu. Případné sociální dopady netolismu v souvislosti s pandemií COVID-19 se týkaly: vyvolání větších obav z COVID-19 a tím i způsobení úzkosti u mladistvých; zvýšení deprese, úzkosti a míry stresu, pokud se mladiství nudí a je přítomen i strach z COVID-19; změny spánkového režimu; problémů se spánkem; nárůstu indexu tělesné hmotnosti; negativního vlivu na starost rodičů o své děti a změn týkajících se osobnostních rysů dětí. Zjištění výše uvedených studií dokládají, že mladiství jsou ve smyslu rozvoje netolismu rizikovou skupinou vůči jiným věkovým skupinám. V práci byly rovněž zmapovány služby pomáhající se závislostí na internetu a sociální služby zabývající se závislostmi obecně.

Abstract:

This thesis focuses on the factors contributing to the emergence of Internet addiction and its impact on the target group of teenagers using foreign professional articles and studies. Set goals: To describe the factors that contribute to the emergence and development of Internet addiction, the factors that contribute to Internet addiction created or exacerbated by the pandemic COVID-19, and the effects of this addiction on social life. To verify whether juveniles are more prone to Internet addiction. Map social services offering help in the field of Internet addiction. Conclusion: Possible factors contributing to the emergence of Internet addiction were described and divided into categories - dysfunctional interpersonal relationships in childhood, personality characteristics, current problematic life situation and the Internet. Loneliness, social isolation and longer time spent on the Internet in connection with distance education were found to be possible factors exacerbated by the pandemic. Factors that have just arisen in connection with the COVID-19 pandemic have not been identified. The possible social effects of Internet addiction were found to be f.e. dominance of the Internet in spending time, changes and problems in relationships, loss of original social contacts, negative effects on the ability to communicate, influence on inclusion to society and more. Potential social impacts of Internet addiction in the context of the COVID-19 pandemic were related to f.e.: greater concern about COVID-19 and thereby anxiety among adolescents; changes in sleep patterns; increase in body mass index; negative influence on parents' concern for their children and more. The findings of the above-mentioned studies show that adolescents are more at risk compared to other age groups in terms of the development of Internet addiction. Services helping with Internet addiction and social services dealing with addiction in general were mapped.
