This thesis deals with the subtitling of an episode of the German documentary series "Expedition in die Heimat". The thesis is divided into theoretical and practical parts. Tato diplomová práce se zabývá titulkováním epizody německého dokumentárního seriálu „Expedition in die Heimat“. Práce je rozdělena na teoretickou a praktickou část. V teoretické části jsou ve čtyřech kapitolách popsány stručně formy audiovizuálního překladu, technické parametry potřebné k titulkování a interkulturní problémy, které se při procesu titulkování mohou vyskytovat.
