Abstract:

Cílem této bakalářské práce je na základě teoretického rámce tvorby dokumentu a orální historie představit dokumentární portrét – medailon Milady Cvachové. Práce se tedy skládá ze dvou částí. Cílem praktické části je seznámit diváka s životem obyčejného člověka v meziválečném prostředí v cizí zemi. Textová část prohlubuje znalost praktické části, není však pro její správné porozumění nezbytná. První částí je DVD s medailonem Milady Cvachové. Tato žena vypráví o svém dětství v Anglii po první světové válce. Jejím prostřednictvím se diváci podívají do minulosti takřka sto let zpátky. Psaná část se skládá ze tří okruhů. První z nich definuje vybraný žánr, druhé téma seznamuje čtenáře s výrobním procesem dokumentu ve třech fázích – preprodukce (výběr tématu, příprava na natáčení a vedení rozhovoru), produkce (průběh samotného natáčení) a postprodukce (střihová skladba dokumentu). Také seznamuje čtenáře s metodou orální historie, která byla využita při vedení rozhovoru, a poukazuje na problémy s pamětí, které vzhledem k vysokému věku aktérky ovlivňují její výpověď. Třetí část uvádí čtenáře do historického kontextu doby po první světové válce a sociálního prostředí rodiny aktérky.

Abstract:

The objective of this bachelor thesis is to present a documentary portrait – a profile of Milada Cvachová, based on a theoretical scope of documentary creation and oral history. The thesis consists of two parts. The objective of the practical part is to acquaint the viewer with a life of an ordinary person in an interwar environment of a foreign country. The text part extends the knowledge of the practical part. However, it is not essential for correct understanding thereof. The first part is a DVD with a profile of Milada Cvachová. This woman tells about her childhood in England after the World War I. Through her the viewers will visit the past, nearly 100 years ago. The text part consists of three topics. The first defines the genre chosen, the second topic introduces the reader to the production process of the documentary in three phases – pre-production (choice of topic, preparation for recording and conduct of interview), production (course of the recording itself) and post-production (editing composition of the document). It also makes the reader acquainted with a method of oral history, which was used during the interview and it adverts to problems with memory, which due to high age of the actor influences her statement. The third part shows the reader to the historical context of the period following the World War I and the social environment of the actor's family.
