Rozpad Jugoslávie a následná válka jsou jedněmi z klíčových momentů jihoslovanské historie. The Breakup of Yugoslavia and Yugoslav Wars are pivotal moments of south-slavic history. These events were reflected in works of former Yugoslav authors as well as in works of authors not originating in former Yugoslavia.
