Abstract:

Tato diplomová práce si klade za cíl zjistit povědomí, zkušenosti a využívání praktických intervencí učiteli jazykových škol ve prospěch dyslektických studentů. V první části jsou shrnuta teoretická východiska pro porozumění projevům dyslexie, jejich vliv na učení se cizímu jazyku a možné zásahy ve výuce angličtiny jako cizího jazyka u studentů s dyslexií. V praktické části je nejdříve uvedeno srovnání tří dyslektických jedinců podporující potřebu individuálního přístupu. Dále jsou pak rozebrány a vyhodnoceny výsledky kvantitativního dotazníkového šetření zjišťujícího přístupy učitelů brněnských jazykových škol k dyslektickým studentům.

Abstract:

This diploma thesis aims to investigate the awareness, experience and application of practical interventions of language school teachers with regard to the needs of dyslexic learners. In the first part, there are summarized theoretical standpoints for understanding the manifestations of dyslexia, their impact on foreign language learning and possible interventions in teaching English as a foreign language to learners with dyslexia. In the practical part, firstly, there is presented a comparison of three dyslexic learners promoting the need of individualisation. Secondly, there are analysed and evaluated findings of quantitative questionnaire research investigating the approaches of language school teachers in Brno to dyslexic learners.
