Diplomová práce se věnuje tématu ochrany práv žen v univerzálních a regionálních úmluvách o lidských právech. Rozdělena je do 7 částí. V první části odpovídá na otázku proč je v některých oblastech potřebné klást důraz na ochranu práv žen. Druhá část vysvětluje některé základní pojmy. The diploma thesis deals with the topic of the protection of women's rights in universal and regional conventions on human rights. It is divided into 7 parts.
