A current offer of package tours for families with children in tourism market

Abstract:

Diplomová práce se zabývá současnou nabídkou zájezdů pro rodiny s dětmi. Jejím cílem je popsání současné nabídky českých cestovních kanceláří zaměřené na rodiny s dětmi, zjištění preferencí tohoto segmentu zákazníků při výběru zájezdu a pohledu zástupců vybraných cestovních kanceláří na současnou nabídku zájezdů pro rodiny s dětmi. Cílem je také zjištění spokojenosti zákazníků s nabízenými animačními službami. Dalším cílem je definování změn nabídky zájezdů a poptávky rodin s dětmi v důsledku epidemie covidu-19. Těchto cílů je v práci dosaženo za pomoci dotazníkového šetření, kterého se účastnilo 520 zákazníků tuzemských cestovních kanceláří a za pomoci rozhovorů s vybranými zástupci českých cestovních kanceláří. Uceleným shrnutím preferencí rodin s dětmi při výběru dovolené tato práce umožňuje cílené zaměření marketingu a přináší náměty k přizpůsobení nabídky zájezdů pro tento segment. Práce zároveň přináší jedny z prvních informací ke změnám nabídky a poptávky v cestovním ruchu v důsledku nepříznivé epidemiologické situace.

Abstract:

The diploma thesis focuses on the current offer of package tours for families with children. The aim of the thesis is to describe the current offers of the travel agencies aimed at families with children and to find the preference of this customer segment in the choice of package tours and the view of travel agency representatives on the current offer of the package tours for families with children. Another aim is to find out customer satisfaction with offered animation services too. The other aim is to define the changes of the package tours offer and the families demand due to covid-19. In the thesis these aims are achieved by survey in which participated 520 customers of domestic travel agencies and by the interviews with selected representatives of czech travel agencies. Because of the comprehensive summary of the families preference the thesis allows targeted focus of marketing and brings themes for offer adaptation in this segment. The thesis also brings the first informations about the offer and the inquiry in tourism due to the adverse epidemiological situation.
