Táto práca skúma techniku písania Thomasa Hardyho, ktorá je vo veľkej časti podobná technikám uplatňovaným vo filmovom štýle. Cieľom práce je vysvetliť, čo umožnilo vývoj filmovej techniky Hardyho v predfilmovej ére a analyzovať jeden zo skorších Hardyho románov, Ďaleko od hlučného davu, a tak zdokumentovať vývoj jeho techniky a demonštrovať, ako integrálne sú filmové aspekty Hardyho písania pre tento …moreAbstract:
This thesis engages with the notion of the cinematic nature of Thomas Hardy’s writing, aims to explain what made its development as a phenomenon in the pre-cinematic era possible and looks at one of Hardy’s earlier novels, Far From the Madding Crowd, with the aim to examine the development of his technique and demonstrate how integral the cinematic aspects of Hardy’s writing are to the novel.
