Dyscalculia and its influence on the education of pupils with this learning disability in geometry

Abstract:

Diplomová práce je věnována problému dyskalkulie a jejímu vlivu na vzdělávání žáků s touto poruchou v geometrii. Práce je rozdělena na dvě části, teoretickou a praktickou. V teoretické části se věnuji nejprve obecně specifickým poruchám učení. Větší část je pak věnována samotnému pojmu dyskalkulie, jeho vymezí, klasifikaci, diagnostice a následné reedukaci. Praktická část je založena na případové studii vybrané žákyně, které byla dyskalkulie diagnostikována.

Abstract:

Diploma thesis is devoted to the problem of dyscalculia and its impact on the education of pupils with this disorder in geometry. The work os dividend into two parts, theoretical and practical. In the theoretical part I deal with specific learning disorders in general. The larger part is devoted to the notion of dyscalculia, its definition, classification, diagnosis and subsequent reeducation. The practical part is based on a case study selected by the disciple who was diagnosed with dyscalculia.
