The communication between a teacher and a student in the context of distance education

Abstract:

Diplomová práce pojednává o komunikaci mezi učitelem a žákem v kontextu distančního vzdělávání. V teoretické části je vymezena teorie komunikace, pedagogické interakce a komunikace, distančního vzdělávání a jeho specifik. Cílem výzkumné části práce je zjistit, jaký charakter pedagogické interakce a komunikace byl ve vybrané škole na 1. stupni v době distančního vzdělávání. Výzkumná část je realizována v designu případové studie za použití smíšeného výzkumu a pro metodu sběru dat byla zvolena videostudie a její analýza a polostrukturovaný rozhovor na výzkumném vzorku 3 třídních učitelek a jejich tříd. Bylo zjištěno, že charakter pedagogické interakce a komunikace ve vybrané škole na 1. stupni v době distančního vzdělávání byl odlišný u jednotlivých tříd a učitelek a byl ovlivněn osobností, postoji a věkem vybrané paní učitelky, a také prodlevami z důvodu technických záležitostí. Z výsledků bylo také zjištěno, že byl postaven na profesním rámci kvalit a pravidlech, které si žáci spolu s paní učitelkou nastavili.

Abstract:

The thesis deals with communication between teacher and student in the context of distance education. The theoretical part defines the theory of communication, pedagogical interaction and communication, distance education and its specifics. The aim of the research part of the thesis is to find out what the nature of pedagogical interaction and communication was in the selected school at the first level during the distance education period. The research part is carried out in a case study design using mixed research design and video study and its analysis and semi-structured interview on a research sample of 3 classroom teachers and their classes were chosen as the data collection method. It was found that the nature of pedagogical interaction and communication in the selected school at 1st grade during the distance education period varied from class and teacher to class and was influenced by the personality, attitudes and age of the selected teacher, as well as delays due to technical issues. The results also showed that it was built on a professional framework of qualities and rules that the pupils and the teacher set together.
