Children As Witnesses of Domestic Violence - Placing Children in Care and an Arrengement of the Contact with a Violent Parent in the Czech Republic and in International Context

Abstract:

Diplomová práce je rozdělena do pěti oblastí. První část je věnována právní situaci v oblasti domácího násilí v ČR, druhá je věnovaná řízení ve věcech péče o nezletilé dítě. Ve třetí jsou shrnuty psychologické a další dopady domácího násilí na dítě, čtvrtá oblast se věnuje úpravu výchovy a styku s násilným rodičem v mezinárodním kontextu a v páté, závěrečné části rozebírám rozpory legislativy s praxí v ČR. Výstupem práce je nástin toho, v čem spočívají nedostatky v dané problematice v ČR a čím bychom se mohli v zahraničí inspirovat k jejich napravení.

Abstract:

The thesis is divided into five regions. The first part is devoted to the legal situation in the area of domestic violence in the Czech Republic, the second is devoted to the proceedings in matters of custody of minor child. In the third part there are summarizes psychological and other effects of domestic violence on children, the fourth part is dedicated to education and treatment contact with a violent parent in an international context and in the fifth and final section i discuss the legislation conflicts with the practice in our country. The output of work is an outline of what are the shortcomings in the matter of the Czech Republic and what we can inspire abroad for their remedy.
