Selected Chapters of multicultural education in czech sign language

Abstract:

Diplomová práce se zabývá problematikou výuky multikulturní výchovy na školách pro děti s postižením sluchu. První část vymezuje užívanou terminologii, druhá část se věnuje postavení a náplni multikulturní výchovy ve školní výuce obecně. Třetí část usouvztažňuje multikulturní výchovu a vzdělávání neslyšících dětí. Čtvrtá část seznamuje s výsledky dotazníkového šetření mezi pedagogy škol pro děti se sluchovým postižením, zatímco pátá část přináší výsledky dotazníkového šetření mezi sluchově postiženými žáky druhého stupně základních škol. Poslední část popisuje a obhajuje diplomový projekt autora určený učitelům, resp. žákům se sluchovým postižením, který má přispět k zpřístupnění problematiky multikulturalismu žákům, jejichž preferovaným, resp. mateřským, jazykem je český znakový jazyk

Abstract:

The diploma thesis deals with the topic of multicultural education at schools for children with hearing handicaps. The first part defines the terminology, the second part is devoted to the status and content of multicultural education within the field of education, in general. The third part puts multicultural education into the context of education of children with hearing handicaps. Part four introduces the findings of a questionnaire survey distributed among teachers from schools for children with hearing handicaps, while part five presents those based on a survey among pupils from lower secondary schools for children with hearing handicaps. The last part of the thesis describes and defends the diploma project of the author intended for teachers and pupils with hearing handicaps. The project should contribute to the dissemination of the topic of multiculturalism among pupils whose preferred tongue or mother tongue is Czech sing language.
