Abstract:

ŠTAFFA, Jiří. Využití satelitních snímků povrchové teploty pro analýzy evapotranspi-race v krajině. Diplomová práce. Mendelova univerzita v Brně, Agronomická Fakulta. Diplomová práce má za úkol pojednat o využití satelitních snímků povrchové teploty pro určení evapotranspirace v krajině a následně porovnat hodnoty s hodnotami na-měřenými na pozemních ekosystémových stanicích pro monitoring evapotranspirace. Výstupy monitoringu povrchové teploty se využívají diagnostickým modelem s názvem DisALEXI (Disaggregated Atmosphere Land Exchange Inverse model), který je ná-sledně schopen určit hodnoty evapotranspirace v dané lokalitě. V práci jsou porovnává-ny tři verze tohoto modelu (liší se v použitých algoritmech) s pozemními měřeními. Pro naplnění tohoto, i všech dalších cílů, bylo využito šest zájmových lokalit (Bílý Kříž, Křešín, Lanžhot, Polkovice, Rájec, Štítná) reprezentujících jak lesní ekosystémy, tak agroekosystémy. Vstupními daty pro tvorbu databází byly denní sumy evapotranspirace z jednotlivých lokalit, přičemž hodnoty z těchto pozemních stanic (měření metodou „eddy covariance“) byly považovány jako referenční. Na základě validace dat a statisti-ce chyb byla vybrána pro podmínky České republiky nejoptimálnější verze (DisALEXI V03) dosahující průměrné střední kvadratické chyby hodnoty 1,08 mm/den napříč loka-litami. Dalším cílem diplomové práce je také analýza dat evapotranspirace z družice Terra v letech 2001–2020 se zaměřením na výskyt sucha a jeho následné dopady na krajinu. Z této analýzy vyplynulo, že distribuce evapotranspirace v rámci roku se mění. Zejména na níže položených lokalitách dochází ke zvyšování evapotranspirace na jaře a k poklesům v létě. V horských lokalitách lze obecně sledovat rostoucí evapotranspiraci ve všech měsících růstové sezóny. Na závěr byla data využita pro monitoring suchých období pomocí indexu ESI (Evaporative Stress Index), který zpravidla poukázal na su-ché roky 2003, 2012, 2015, 2017 a 2018, které postihly a ovlivnily většinu území České republiky. Předložena práce dokládá užitečnost dálkového průzkumu Země jakožto velmi efektivního nástroje pro monitoring sucha a detailní analýzy složek vodního cyklu na úrovni krajiny a jednotlivých ekosystémů.

Abstract:

ŠTAFFA, Jiří. Using satellite images of surface temperature for analyses of evapo-transpiration in the landscape. Diploma thesis. Mendel University in Brno, Faculty of AgriSciences. The thesis aims to discuss the use of satellite images of surface temperature to de-termine evapotranspiration in the landscape and then compare the values with those measured at ground-based ecosystem stations for evapotranspiration monitoring. The surface temperature monitoring outputs are used by a diagnostic model called DisALEXI (Disaggregated Atmosphere Land Exchange Inverse model), which is sub-sequently able to determine evapotranspiration values at a given location. Three versions of this model (differing in the algorithms used) are compared with ground meas-urements. To fulfil this and all other objectives, six sites of interest (Bílý Kříž, Křešín, Lanžhot, Polkovice, Rájec, Štítná) representing both forest ecosystems and agroecosystems were used. The input data for the databases were daily ET totals from the individual sites, with the values from these ground stations (measured by the "eddy covariance" method) as reference. On the basis of data validation and error statistics, the most optimal version (DisALEXI V03) was selected for the conditions of the Czech Republic, achieving an average root mean square error of 1.08 mm/day across the sites. Another aim of the thesis is also the analysis of evapotranspiration data from the Terra satellite in the period 2001-2020 with a focus on the occurrence of drought and its subsequent impacts on the landscape. This analysis showed that the distribution of evapotranspiration varies within the year. In particular, at low-lying sites, there is an increase in evapotranspiration in spring and a decrease in summer. In mountain locations, increasing evapotranspiration can generally be observed in all months of the growing season. Finally, the data were used to monitor dry periods using the Evaporative Stress Index (ESI), which generally indicated the dry years 2003, 2012, 2015, 2017 and 2018, which affected most of the Czech republic. The presented work demonstrates the usefulness of remote sensing as a very effec-tive tool for drought monitoring and detailed analysis of water cycle components at the landscape and individual ecosystem level.
