Possibilities of Project Method in Primary Education

Abstract:

Diplomová práce se zabývá problematikou a využitím projektové výuky na 1. stupni základní školy. Hlavmm cílem práce je analýza získaných znalostí žáků během realizovaného výukového projektu a názor žáků na projektovou výuku. V teoretické části jsou zprvu definovány výchozí pojmy projekt, projektová metoda, projektové vyučování. Dále je zde popsána historie vzniku projektové výuky a její osobnosti. Výzkumná část se věnuje samotné realizaci výukového projektu, znalostem, které jsou žáci schopni během něj získat a názory žáků na realizovaný projekt. Pro výzkum byla využita metoda strukturovaného skupinového rozhovoru, metoda didaktického testu, metoda dotazníku a metoda volného pozorování. Výsledkem šetření byly mimo jiné prokázány zlepšené studijní výsledky žáků, při změně z běžné výuky na výuku projektovou.

Abstract:

The thesis deals with the issue and the use of the project teaching at the primary school. The main objective of the work is the analysis of the knowledge acquired by pupils in the realized educational project and the views of students on project teaching. In the theoretical section is described initial concepts of the project, project method and project teaching. Nex tis also described the brief history of the origin of the project teaching The research part is devoted to the actual implementation of the project teaching the knowledge, which pupils are able to during the her get and the pupils ' opinions on the realized project teaching. For research was used the method of a structured group interview, the method of didactic test, the method of questionnaire and method of fi*ee observation. The result of the investigation were, inter alia, demonstrated improved academic performance of pupils at the change fi-om conventional teaching to teaching project.
