Bakalářská práce v teoretické části analyzuje historii, druhy dobrovolnictví a význam, který dobrovolná činnost má. Nechybí ani zaměření na platnou legislativu. Popisuje spolupráci s dobrovolníky již od samotného příchodu do organizace. Součástí je také zaměření na koordinátora dobrovolníků.
