Non-verbal Spatial Expressions in Modern Greek
Abstract:
Práce se zaměřuje na vyjadřování prostorových vztahů v novořečtině. Teoretická část se zabývá prostorovými vztahy z kognitivního, pragmatického a sémantického hlediska, praktická část se věnuje neslovesným prostorovým výrazům v novořečtině (adverbia, předložkové fráze, perifrastické konstrukce) a jejich frekvencím v řeckém národním korpusu (ETHEG).
Abstract:
This thesis is focused on the expression of spatial relations in Modern Greek. The theoretical part is devoted to the spatial relations from a perspective of cognitive linguistics, pragmatics and semantics, the practical part deals with the non-verbal spatial expressions in Modern Greek (adverbs, prepositional phrases, periphrastic constructions) and their frequency in the Hellenic National Corpus …more
