Migration and its reasons

Abstract:

Cílem bakalářské práce je přiblížit problematiku lidské migrace a objasnit důvody, které k ní celé skupiny nebo jednotlivce vedou. Zaměřuje se na zkoumání migrace od jejích prvopočátků, protože ty byly velice důležité pro utváření lidské společnosti. Poukázáno je zde na rozpor pozitivních a negativních dopadů migrace na země, kterých se dotýká. Migrace je nejprve objasněna v teoretické části. Po vysvětlení základních pojmů migrace, jejích historických souvislostí a dopadů na lidskou civilizaci je zkoumána i v České republice. Ve spojitosti s Českou republikou se řeší nejen historické migrační toky, ale i současnost, zvláště po roce 1989, v procesu naší integrace do evropského prostoru. Názornost je zesílena pomocí grafů. Vláda České republiky podporuje legální migraci vydáváním zelených a modrých karet a i tato problematika je zahrnuta v bakalářské práci. Data mi byla poskytnuta Ministerstvem práce a sociálních věcí ČR. Výsledkem práce je shrnutí dané problematiky, vysvětlení a objasnění faktorů, které ovlivňují toky lidské migrace jak v historii, tak v současnosti, ve světě i v České republice. Práce je doplněna zajímavými mapkami znázorňujícími historické migrační pohyby obyvatelstva.

Abstract:

The aim of the bachelor thesis is to describe the issues of civil migration and to clarify the reasons that lead individuals or the whole groups of people to migrate. It focuses on the examination of migration from the outset, because this period was very important for forming the population. It refers to the contradiction of positive and negative impacts of the migration to countries that are involved. Migration is firstly described in the theoretical part. After clarifying the basic terms of migration, its historical connections and impacts to the population, the migration is explored also in the Czech Republic. In the connection with the Czech Republic it deals not only with the historical migration currents, but also the present day, especially after 1989, in the process of our integration to the European area. Diagrams have been inserted to highlight the problems. The Czech government supports legal migration by giving green and blue cards and also these issues are included in this thesis. Information have been given to me by the Ministry of labour and social affairs. The result of my thesis is the summary of these problems, clarifying the factors that influence human migration either in the history or nowadays in the world or in the Czech Republic. The piece of work is supplemented by interesting maps representing historical migration moves of people.
