Utilization of Artificial Intelligence in Tourism

Abstract:

Cílem této bakalářské práce bylo prozkoumat možnosti využití nástrojů AI v oblasti cestovního ruchu a na základě toho vytvořit soubor doporučení ohledně této technologie pro firmy podnikající v cestovním ruchu. Průzkum byl proveden formou dotazníkového šetření a rozhovorů. V první části práce se nachází teoretický základ pro oblast cestovního ruchu a rozbor principů fungování umělé inteligence, jehož cílem je podat komplexní přehled a poučení o těchto tématech. Dále se práce zaměřuje na identifikaci konkrétních oblastí cestovního ruchu, ve kterých umělá inteligence nachází uplatnění. Následně práce analyzuje, jakým způsobem tyto technologie ovlivňují efektivitu procesů, zážitky cestovatelů a obchodní modely firem a podnikatelů. Důraz je kladen na příklady reálných aplikací umělé inteligence v různých fázích cestovního procesu, od plánování a rezervace až po zážitky a zákaznickou podporu. Práce zahrnuje analýzu dopadů těchto technologií na cestovní průmysl, jakož i na cestovatele samotné.

Abstract:

The aim of this bachelor thesis was to explore the possibilities of using AI tools in the field of tourism and based on that, to create a set of recommendations regarding this technology for companies operating in the tourism sector. The research was conducted through a questionnaire survey and interviews. The first part of the thesis provides the theoretical foundation for the tourism industry and an analysis of the principles of artificial intelligence, aiming to provide a comprehensive overview and insights into these topics. Furthermore, the thesis focuses on identifying specific areas of tourism where artificial intelligence finds its application. Subsequently, the thesis analyzes how these technologies affect the efficiency of processes, traveler experiences, and the business models of companies and entrepreneurs. Emphasis is placed on examples of real-world applications of artificial intelligence at various stages of the travel process, from planning and booking to experiences and customer support. The thesis includes an analysis of the impacts of these technologies on the travel industry, as well as on travelers themselves.
