Foreign trade transactions and abroad capital investments in accounting context

Abstract:

Tato diplomová práce je věnována zahraničním aktivitám podnikatelského subjektu, jednak z pohledu účetního zobrazení zahraničně obchodních transakcí uskutečňovaných v podobě vývozů a dovozů a jednak z pohledu účetního pojetí transakcí spojených se zahraniční kapitálovou investici. V práci jsou nejdříve popsané obecné souvislosti těchto operací, a to zejména teorie volby vhodné formy vstupu na zahraniční trh a náležitosti, které ji dotváří. Dále se práce zabývá účetními a daňovými postupy. Účetní zobrazení má stěžejní postavení v rámci zachycování zahraniční ekonomické činnosti podniků a také slouží k jejímu následnému zhodnocení či k navrhnutí případných změn. Daně v zahraničně-ekonomické činnosti mají charakter ochrany trhu. Veškeré tyto obecné poznatky jsou následně aplikované na modelovém příkladu společnosti, která je inspirována existující korporací.

Abstract:

This diploma thesis is focused on foreign activities of a business subject. Foreign trade transactions such as export, import and foreign capital investments are analysed from accounting perspective. The first part of thesis describes theoretical context of these operations, especially the theory of choosing the appropriate form of entry into the foreign market and the requirements that complete it. Furthermore, this thesis deals with accounting and tax theory. The accounting has an important role in capturing the foreign economic activities in enterprises and also serves for its subsequent evaluation or to propose possible changes. On the other hand, taxes in foreign economic activities serve as market protector. All these general findings are then applied to the model of a company which is based on an existing corporation.
