Diagnosis of learning styles and strategies of secondary students and adult students at a language school

Abstract:

Diplomová práce je zaměřena na učební styly a strategie středoškolských studentů ve srovnání s dospělými posluchači jazykové školy. Jejím cílem je pomoci těmto studentům najít a uvědomit si svůj učební styl, seznámit se s vhodnými strategiemi, vyzkoušet různé techniky, které by jim učení usnadnily. Konečným cílem je lepší efektivita učení a vyšší sebedůvěra studentů. Úspěšné zvládnutí cizího jazyka není podmíněno věkem.

Abstract:

The diploma thesis focuses on learning styles and strategies of the secondary school students´ compared to the adult students at laguage school. The aim is help to the students to find and recognize their learning style, to practise and experience suitable strategies in order to make their learning more effective. The final aim is better students´efficiency of learning and higher self-confidence. The succes of mastering a language does not depends on the age of a student.
