Předmětem této diplomové práce je švédské předsednictví Evropské unie. Švédsko při volbě priorit muselo reagovat na aktuální výzvy, jakými bylo např. plánované přijetí Lisabonské smlouvy, hospodářská a ekonomická krize, či změny klimatu a stále se zhoršující stav životního prostředí. The subject of this thesis is the Swedish Presidency of the European Union. In the course of the choice of priorities Sweden had to respond to current challenges such as the planned adoption of the Lisbon Treaty, economic and financial crisis, climate change and the deteriorating state of the environment.
