Tourism in the EU focused on Spain and France

Abstract:

Tato diplomová práce se zabývá vývojem cestovního ruchu v Evropské unii, především pak analýzou turismu ve dvou vybraných členských zemích, ve Španělsku a Francii. Teoretická východiska v první části diplomové práce vymezují pojmy související s cestovním ruchem, s Evropskou unií a s politikou cestovního ruchu v rámci Evropské unie. Druhá část diplomové práce je zaměřena na zkoumané země Španělsko a Francii, jejich obecnou charakteristiku a členství v Evropské unii, a poté již na samotný vývoj cestovního ruchu. Cílem práce je zanalyzovat a srovnat cestovní ruch vybraných zemí v období mezi lety 2007–2017 a vyvodit tak konečné závěry vyplývající ze statistických údajů cestovního ruchu daných zemí.

Abstract:

This thesis deals with the development and trends of tourism in the European Union, especially with the analysis of tourism in two selected member countries, in Spain and France. The theoretical basis in the first part of this thesis defines the concepts related to tourism, the European Union and the tourism policy within the European Union. The second part of the thesis focuses on Spain and France, their general characteristics and membership in the European Union as well as on the development of tourism within these countries. The aim of the thesis is to analyze and compare tourism of both countries in the period 2007–2017 and to draw the final conclusions from tourism statistics.
