The diploma thesis examines the reasons for economic cooperation of the Balkan countries, which do not belong to the European Union (EU), with the People's Republic of China (PRC). The author compares these reasons with those of the countries of the Visegrad Group (V4), which are already members of the EU. Diplomová práca skúma dôvody hospodárskej spolupráce balkánskych krajín, nepatriacich do Európskej únie (EÚ), s Čínskou ľudovou republikou (ČĽR). Tieto dôvody porovnáva s krajinami Vyšehradskej skupiny (V4), ktoré sú už členmi EÚ.
