Accounting and tax aspects of bankruptcy

Abstract:

Ve své diplomové práci se zaměřuji na účetní a daňové aspekty procesu insolvence v České republice. Insolvence je všeobecně chápána jako konec ekonomické činnosti podniku, s nímž je spojeno i ukončení veškerých administrativních, účetních a ekonomických činností. Tato práce tento „mýtus“ vyvrací. Snahou je poskytnout komplexní informace o průběhu insolvenčního řízení – zejména se zaměřením na řešení úpadku konkurzem, z pohledu účetní či ekonoma dlužníka. Teoretická část práce je zaměřena na osvětlení jednotlivých pojmů, práv a povinností všech subjektů a účastníků spojovaných s insolvenčním řízením. Aplikační část pak osvětluje účetní a daňové povinnosti dlužníka v úpadku. Tyto jsou následně osvětleny na příkladu společnosti v úpadku.

Abstract:

In my thesis I focus on accounting and tax aspects of the insolvency process in the Czech Republic. Insolvency is generally understood as the end of the economic activity of the company which is associated with completion of all administrative, financial and economic activities. This work refutes this "myth". The aim is to provide comprehensive information about the course of insolvency proceedings - especially with attention to the company in bankruptcy from the perspective of company economist or accountant. The theoretical part is focused on the explanation of the terms, rights and obligations of all entities associated with insolvency proceedings. Application section explains the accounting and tax obligations of the company in bankruptcy. These are then explained on the example of a company in bankruptcy.
