Negative impacts of tourism in the town of Český Krumlov

Abstract:

Bakalářská práce se zaměřuje na negativní dopady cestovního ruchu jak obecně, tak konkrétně ve městě Český Krumlov, které se v posledních letech potýká s vysokou návštěvností způsobující ve městě řadu problémů. V teoretické části je popsán vývoj cestovního ruchu, masový, společensky odpovědný a udržitelný cestovní ruch. Následující kapitola je věnována městu Český Krumlov, jeho historii, návštěvnosti a popisu atraktivit. Práci uzavírá vyhodnocení dotazníkového šetření mezi obyvateli Českého Krumlova týkající se cestovního ruchu v jejich městě.

Abstract:

The bachelor thesis focuses on negative impacts of tourism both in general and in connection to the town of Český Krumlov which is currently dealing with problems regarding large amounts of visitors coming to see the historical centre. The theoretical part deals with the development of tourism and terms such as mass, socially responsible and sustainable tourism. The following chapter presents the town of Český Krumlov, its history, number of visitors and attractivities. The thesis also contains results of research conducted among the citizens of Český Krumlov regarding the tourism in their hometown.
