Abstract:

Bakalářská práce je věnována životu posledního ruského cara Mikuláše II. Alexandroviče Romanova. Hlavním cílem této práce bylo představit osobnost cara Mikuláše II. a popsat důležité události, které ovlivnily jeho život a formovaly jeho osobnost. Pozornost byla věnována i rodině a poté dalším důležitým lidem a událostem, které ovlivnily jeho vládu a rozhodování. Car Mikuláš II. se děsil myšlenky na ústavu a chtěl udržet samovládu, jako jeho otec. Nevěděl, jak velice napjatá situace se vytváří v jeho říši. Proto nepřátelský postoj jeho lidu, politická a sociální krize vedly k postupnému pádu cara Mikuláše II.

Abstract:

This thesis is dedicated to the life of the last Russian Tsar Nicholas II Alexandrovich Romanov. The main aim of the study was to represent the personality of the Tsar Nicholas II and to describe significant events, which have affected his life and shaped his personality. The attention was paid to the whole Romanov and then also important people and situations which have influenced his Government and decision-making. Tsar Nicholas II dreaded ideas of constitutionalism and he wanted to keep the autocracy as his father did. He did not known, how the very tense situation is created in his realm. Therefore the hostile position of his people, the political and social crisis led to the gradual fall of the Tsar Nicholas II.
