V souladu se zadaným tématem se tato práce zabývá volbou prezidenta republiky v České republice. V České republice prezidenta volí parlament. Samotná pravidla volby prezidenta republiky jsou zakotvena v čl. 58 Ústavy ČR.Ústava odkazuje na jednací řád Poslanecké sněmovny; volbou prezidenta se pak zabývá především jeho příloha č. 2. According to the title this diploma thesis deals with the election of the President of the Czech Republic. The president of the Czech Republic is elected by the parliament. The rules of the presidential election itself are embedded in the article no. 58 of the czech Constitution.
