Current Czech methodical guide books for social skills development of people with high-functioning autism and Asperger syndrome

Abstract:

Předmětem diplomové práce „Současné české metodické příručky pro rozvoj sociálních dovedností osob s vysokofunkčním autismem a Aspergerovým syndromem“ je analýza českých metodických příruček pro rozvoj osob s vysokofunkčním autismem a Aspergerovým syndromem. V teoretické části této práce jsou představeny poruchy autistického spektra, triáda poškození a etiologie. Dále se práce zaměřuje na sociální dovednosti, jejich vývoj a metody pro rozvoj a snížení deficitů. Nakonec jsou sepsány dostupné prostředky pro rozvoj sociálních dovedností jako vzdělávání, knihy a další materiály a také jsou zde uvedeny osoby, které pracují na rozvoji sociálních dovedností osob s poruchami autistického spektra. V empirické části je provedena kvalitativní studie. Pomocí analýzy dokumentů byly zpracovány současné české metodické příručky pro rozvoj sociálních dovedností osob s vysokofunkčním autismem a Aspergerovým syndromem. Dokumenty byly kódovány a následně kategorizovány.

Abstract:

The subject of this thesis "Current Czech methodical guide books for development social skills of people with high-functioning autism and Asperger's Syndrome" is an analysis of Czech methodical manuals for the development of people with high-functioning autism and Asperger's syndrome. In the theoretical part of this thesis forms of autism spectrum disorders, triad of damage and etiology are presented. Next part is focused on social skills, especially on development and methods for further development and deficits reduction of social skills. Finally, there are summarized resources for the development of social skills such as education, books and other materials for development of skills and also people who are developing social skills of people with autism spectrum disorders. Results of gualitative research are shown in the empirical part of this thesis. Czech contemporary methodical guidebooks for development of social skills of people with high-functioning autism and Asperger's Syndrome were processed by means of the document analysis. The documents were subsequently coded and categorized.
