Se zvyšující se produkcí odpadu a odpovídajícímu se zvýšení nákladů obcí na jeho sběr, svoz a likvidaci odpadu se obce snaží zvyšovat svoje příjmy, aby dokázala efektivně porývat náklady. Tato práce se zaměřuje na jeden z faktorů ovlivňujících výši těchto nákladů, a sice věk producentů odpadu. With the increase of waste generation and a corresponding increase in the cost of municipalities in the collection, transport and disposal of municipal waste, municipalities strive to increase their income to effectively cover the costs.
