Stress manifestations from clinical practice in FZS students

Abstract:

V této bakalářské práci se zabývám tématem stresu a jeho projevů u studentů, kteří dochází na odbornou praxi. Studenti mohou ve vysoké míře zažívat stres v rámci jejich klinické praxe. Ten může ovlivnit učení, výkon a výsledky učení. Tato práce je výsledkem dotazníkového šetření, které bylo provedeno za účelem zjištění projevů stresu vnímaných studenty v průběhu klinické praxe. Následným cílem bylo také porovnat výsledky s podobnou studií, která byla vytvořena na Slovensku. Průzkum byl proveden pomocí standardizovaného kvantitativního dotazníku. Pro jeho tvorbu byl vzorem dotazník využitý ve slovenské studii (Gurková, Zeleníková, Mrosková, Magurová 2017). Průzkumným vzorkem bylo celkem 182 respondentů, studentů a absolventů FZS UJEP, napříč obory Ergoterapie, Fyzioterapie, Všeobecná sestra a Porodní asistentka. Práce se dále zaměřovala na projevy stresu u studentů, s rozdělením na tělesné a emocionální projevy, jako jsou sklony k nervozitě, znepokojení a prožívání obav i v případech, kdy k tomu není důvod a sociální a behaviorální projevy stresu. Vzájemná komunikace mezi studenty - mentory - učiteli, by mohla pomoci odstranit či alespoň snížit příčiny stresu studentů a pomoci jim stresové situace lépe zvládat.

Abstract:

In this thesis I exploring with the topic of stress and stress manifestation for students when they have their traineeship. Students can have a problems with high levels of stress in their clinical practise. This can affect learning, performance and learning outcomes. This work is the result of a questionnaire that was conducted to identify the symptoms of stress perceived by students during clinical practice. The next goal was also to compare the results with a similar study that was created in Slovakia. The survey was conducted using a standardized quantitative questionnaire. The questionnaire used in the Slovak study was a model for his work (Gurková, Zeleníková, Mrosková, Magurová 2017). A survey sample included 182 respondents, students and graduates of FZS UJEP, across the fields of Ergotherapy, Physiotherapy, General Nurse and Midwife. The work also focused on the manifestations of stress in students, with a division into physical and emotional manifestations, such as a tendency to nervousness, concern, and worry even when there is no reason and social and behavioral manifestations of stress. Mutual communication between students - mentors - teachers could help to eliminate or at least reduce the causes of students stress, and help them manage stressful situations.
