Motivation of combined students of University of Ostrava to study social pedagogy

Abstract:

Bakalářská práce je zaměřena na zjišťování motivačních faktorů, které se vyskytují u kombinovaných studentů bakalářského oboru Sociální pedagogiky na Ostravské univerzitě. Práce je rozdělena na teoretickou a praktickou část. V teoretické části jsou vymezeny klíčové pojmy související s motivací. Blíže je objasněna motivace dospělých ke studiu a specifikace bakalářského kombinovaného studia oboru sociální pedagogiky na PdF OU. Poslední oddíl teoretické části představuje vybraná výzkumná šetření, která již byla v této oblasti provedena. Tyto teoretické poznatky se vztahují k praktické části práce, jejímž cílem je zjistit, čím je podmíněn výběr oboru sociální pedagogiky a jaké motivační faktory se u kombinovaných studentů tohoto oboru na Ostravské univerzitě vyskytují. K tomuto účelu byla použita kvantitativní metoda, přičemž výzkumným nástrojem byl dotazník vlastní konstrukce. Data byla následně uskupena do souhrnných grafů a provedena jejich interpretace.

Abstract:

This bachelor thesis is focused on the identification of motivation factors, which are found in combined students of bachelor's degree in Social Pedagogy at the University of Ostrava. The thesis is divided into the theoretical and practical part. In the theoretical part, are defined key concepts related to motivation. Closer explanation is given to the motivation of adults to study and to specify the bachelor's combined study of the field of social pedagogy at the PdF OU. The last section of the theoretical part presents selected research investigations that have already been carried out in this area. These theoretical knowledge relate to the practical part of the thesis, which aims to find out what the choice of social pedagogy is and what motivational factors are found in the combined students of social pedagogy at the University of Ostrava. For this purpose a quantitative method was used, while the research tool was a questionnaire of its own design. The data was then grouped into the summary graphs and interpreted.
