Abstract:

Diplomová práce se zabývá uplatněním sociální práce v terapeutických komunitách pro léčbu závislostí na nealkoholových drogách. Teoretická část práce obsahuje vymezení terapeutických komunit, definici oboru sociální práce skrze pohledy na tento obor a diskurzy objevující se v praxi sociální práce. Uplatnění sociální práce pak bylo zkoumáno právě skrze pohledy pracovníků a terapeutických komunit na sociální práci. Výzkum byl prováděn prostřednictvím polostrukturovaných rozhovorů s osmi pracovníky ze dvou terapeutických komunit, což je podrobně popsáno v metodologické části práce. Cílem práce bylo zodpovědět hlavní výzkumnou otázku: „Jak je uplatňována sociální práce v terapeutických komunitách pro léčbu závislostí na nealkoholových drogách z hlediska různých pohledů na sociální práci?“. Výzkum ukázal, že pracovníci uplatňují na sociální práci pohled sociálního řádu zaměřený především na změnu jedince. To však nekoresponduje s hlavním problémem klientů těchto zařízení, za který respondenti označili vztahy se subjekty v sociálním prostředí jedince. Blíže rozpracovaná odpověď na hlavní výzkumnou otázku je obsažena v empirické části práce. Součástí závěru práce jsou doporučení pro praxi formulovaná na základě zjištěného.

Abstract:

This thesis deals with application of social work in therapeutic communities for treatment of non-alcoholic drug abuse. The theoretical section contains the definition of therapeutic communities, the definition of the field of social work and discourses that appear in the practice of social work. The application of social work has been examined through the views of the employees and therapeutic communities on the social work. The research has been lead by means of semi-structured interviews with eight employees from two different therapeutic communities, which is thoroughly described in the methodology section. The goal of this thesis is to answer the main research question: How is the social work applied in therapeutic communities for treatment of non-alcoholic drug abuse from different points of view on social work? The research has revealed that the employees apply the view of the social order focused on the change of the individual. Nevertheless, this does not correspond to the main issue of the clients of these facilities, which has been found to be the relations with the subjects in a social environment of an individual. The answer is further elaborated in the empirical section of the thesis. The conclusion also includes some recommendations for the practice based on the established facts.
