Ve své bakalářské práci se zabývám systémem protiraketové obrany Spojených států amerických. Určím dva protikladné pohledy na tento program a zasadím ho do teorie mezinárodních vztahů. Popíši historii vývoje v oblasti protiraketových systémů v USA a přiblížím jednotlivé složky systému BMD a zaměřím se na takzvanou spirálovitou strukturu.
