Education of a student with child autism at a regular elementary school from the point of view of teacher's assistant

Abstract:

Bakalářská práce pojednává o vzdělávání žáka s dětským autismem v běžné základní škole z pohledu asistenta pedagoga. Hlavním cílem práce je analýza edukačního procesu žáka v běžné základní škole. Práce je členěna na část teoretickou, která popisuje dělení poruch autistického spektra, popisuje základní principy a východiska inkluzivního vzdělávání a v poslední fázi popisuje specifika vzdělávání osob s poruchami autistického spektra na základní škole. Praktická část je vypracovaná pomocí kvalitativního výzkumu v podobě případové studie, která vychází z analýzy dokumentů a zúčastněného pozorování. Hlavním cílem je analýza edukačního procesu ve třídě běžné základní školy. Dále je sledována úroveň komunikačních dovedností žáka s autismem a klima třídy.

Abstract:

The thesis is about the education of a pupil with childhood autism in a primary school described from the perspective of a teacher's assistant. The main purpose of the thesis is to analyze the pupil's educational process in a common primary school. The work is divided into a theoretical part, which describes the division of autistic spectrum disorders, describes the basic principles and bases of inclusive education and in the last phase describes the specifics of education of people with autistic spectrum disorders at primary school. The practical part is elaborated by means of qualitative research in the form of a case study, which is based on the analysis of documents and participant observation. The main objective is to analyze the educational process in the classroom of a regular primary school. Furthermore, the level of communication skills of the pupil with autism and also class climate is monitored.
