Abstract:

Diplomová práce je zaměřena na možnosti trávení volného času u zrakově postižených osob. Téma bylo vybráno pro jeho zajímavost a blízkost k osobě autorky, která od narození trpí vrozenou nevidomostí. V práci byl nejprve vymezen pojem volný čas, možnosti volnočasových aktivit u zrakově postižených a související pojem rekreace. Dále bylo krátce nastíněno historické hledisko pojmu. Poté byla popsána prostorová orientace a samostatný pohyb. Taktéž jsme se zabývali volnočasovými aktivitami zrakově postižených a krátce specifikovali rozdíly v trávení volného času u dětí v rodině a v ústavní péči. V podkapitole Volný čas zrakově postižených byly volnočasové aktivity systémově rozděleny na ty, které rozvíjejí kognitivní schopnosti, tj. např. myšlení a paměť, a také na aktivity podporující vlohy a talent nevidomého. Druhou vytvořenou dělící kategorií byly volnočasové aktivity rozvíjející vrozené dispozice, nadání. Zde byly heslovitě popsány sportovní aktivity jako např. lyžování, cyklotandem a další. Byl vymezen hlavní cíl a také dílčí cíle výzkumu. Poté byl specifikován výzkumný soubor a byly rovněž stanoveny 3 hypotézy, které jsme verifikovali na bivariační a univariační analýze. Dále byla popsána nestandardizovaná dotazníková metoda vytvořená autorkou a použitá v našem výzkumu. Bylo popsáno a charakterizováno všech 30 dotazníkových položek.

Abstract:

Diploma thesis is predicated on individuals with visual impairments and their possibilities of spending leisure time. The author of this thesis finds the topic attractive and interesting. Also, the topic has been chosen because of its closeness to the author, who has been suffering from total blindness since birth. In this diploma, the meaning of the word ‘leisure time’was identified . Further, we briefly outlined the historical dimension of the word. The territory orientation and the independent movement were described. We further dealt with leisure-time activities for visually handicapped people and then we briefly specified some differences in leisure-time activities for children living with their families against those who live in institutions. In the subchapter, “Free time of visually handicapped individuals”, the leisure-time activities were systematically divided into several groups. The first category was for activities supporting cognitive skills, such as thinking and memory. In the second chapter, activities supporting talent and natural ability were included. For example, we noticed the following activities in the first group: relief pictures, haptic modelling and reading sound books. The second leisure-time activities group consisted of sport, skiing and cycling with a seeing guide and show-down. This is an application developed to allow table tennis for the blind people. In the final chapter of our diploma thesis, we concentrated on practical applications. The main target and some consequential objectives were determined. Then our research group was specified and also three hypotheses were stated. We sought to either verify or falsify them via the so called univariated or bivariated analysis. A non-standardised questionnaire, created by the author, was used in our research. All 30 items in this questionnaire were properly described and characterised.
