Assessment and improvement of personal management in a selected organization

Abstract:

Cílem této práce je navrhnout možnosti zkvalitnění personálního řízení v Nemocnici Strakonice, a.s. Teoretická část zahrnuje poznatky z personálního řízení. Praktická část se skládá ze čtyř částí. První částí je charakteristika organizace. Druhou část tvoří konkrétní náplň práce personálního oddělení. Třetí část obsahuje dva rozhovory s vedoucími oddělení o personálním řízení v nemocnici. V poslední části je zpracováno dotazníkové šetření. Dotazník obsahuje 21 otázek a byl vyplněn 80 zaměstnanci. Dotazníky byly zpracovány v programu Microsoft Excel 2016. Hodnocení jednotlivých otázek proběhlo graficky a slovně. Praktická část diplomové práce byla následně shrnuta a zhodnocena a byly odvozeny návrhy opatření. Výsledky práce ukázaly, že zaměstnanci jsou s činností personálního oddělení spokojeni. Mezi návrhy na zlepšení v oblasti personálního řízení patří začlenění prvků personálního marketingu, zařazení bodu hodnotícího hospodaření se svěřeným materiálem do hodnoticího dotazníku, zavedení e-learningu pro povinná školení, zařazení kurzu asertivity mezi povinné vzdělávací aktivity zdravotnického personálu, rozšíření nabídky benefitů, zavedení dotazníku na téma spokojenost zaměstnanců, zakoupení licence na plnou verzi softwaru pro personální informační systém a zefektivnění tak práce personálního oddělení.

Abstract:

The aim of this work is to propose options for improving personnel management at the Strakonice Hospital. The theoretical part includes knowledge of personnel management. The practical part consists of four sections. The first section is a description of the organization. The second section is the specific job content of the personnel department. The third section contains two interviews with department managers about personnel management in the hospital. The last section presents the results of a questionnaire survey. The questionnaire includes 21 questions and was completed by 80 employees. The questionnaires were processed in Microsoft Excel 2016. The evaluation of each question was carried out graphically and verbally. The practical part of the thesis was then summarized and evaluated, and proposals for measures were derived. The results showed that employees are satisfied with the personnel department's activities. Suggestions for improving personnel management include incorporating elements of personnel marketing, adding a point evaluating the management of entrusted material to the evaluation questionnaire, introducing e-learning for mandatory training, including a course on assertiveness as a mandatory educational activity for medical personnel, expanding the range of benefits, introducing a questionnaire on employee satisfaction, purchasing a license for the full version of the personnel information system software, and streamlining the work of the personnel department.
