Economic Analysis of the Non-Profit Organization Ledovec

Abstract:

Cílem diplomové práce je analýza celkové efektivnosti a hospodárnosti při využívání zdrojů nestátní neziskové organizace Ledovec, o.s., bližší pozornost je věnována rovněž otázce nákladovosti sociálních služeb, které Ledovec poskytuje. Cílem je zjistit "cenu" těchto činností prostřednictvím kalkulace nákladů, porovnat v čase tyto náklady v relaci na výkony a následně z toho vyvodit závěry a doporučení pro další kroky managementu Ledovce. V teoretické části práce je vymezena pozice nestátních neziskových organizací ve společnosti a v národním hospodářství, jsou řešena jejich specifika v oblasti hospodaření a následně je při respektování těchto specifik podán výklad o finanční analýze těchto subjektů včetně základních způsobů kalkulace nákladů na jednotlivé výkony. V praktické části jsou pak tato teoretická východiska aplikována na konkrétní nestátní neziskový subjekt -- Ledovec, o.s.

Abstract:

The goal of this diploma thesis is the economic analysis of a non-profit and non-governmental organization Ledovec, o.s. Besides this overall financial analysis, a special attention is also paid to the costs of various social services that are provided by this organization. The goal is to find the total price of these services via several ways of costing, compare these prices in time and relate them to outputs and results. All these gathered findings are then used to suggest the management of Ledovec some further steps in maintaining the organization. The diploma thesis is divided into two parts. In the theoretical part, the role of non-profit and non-governmental organizations is described and their financial specifics are introduced -- including the issue of costing. In the practical part, this theoretical knowledge is put into practice and applied on a factual organization -- Ledovec, o.s.
