Regulation of accounting in the selected EU country

Abstract:

Diplomová práce je zaměřena na srovnávací analýzu účetních systémů a postavení účetní profese ve Velké Británii a České republice. Práce obsahuje popis základních faktorů, které ovlivnily britský účetní systém, přehled aktuálního regulačního rámce účetnictví a subjekty regulující účetnictví ve Velké Británii a České republice. Na základě analýzy je provedena komparace britského a českého účetního systému a účetní profese v obou zemích. V závěru jsou uvedeny jednotlivé rozdíly a vyvozena možná doporučení.

Abstract:

The aim of the diploma thesis is to perform a comparative analysis of the accounting systems and accountant profession of Great Britain and the Czech Republic. The thesis describes the main factors that influenced the British accounting system, provides an overview of the current regulatory framework for accounting and introduces the entities regulating accounting in the UK and the Czech Republic. On the basis of the analysis, the comparison of the British and Czech accounting system and accounting profession in both countries is performed. In conclusion, the individual differences and possible recommendations are presented.
