Accomodation services for handicaped parents with children without shelter: case study of the Vincent de Paul house

Abstract:

Bakalářská práce se zabývá azylovým domem pro handicapované rodiče s dětmi. Na případové studii Domova sv. Vincenta de Paul je zkoumána potřebnost, přínos, financování, kapacita a začlenění klientů do majoritní společnosti po opuštění Domova. Z pohledu klienta byly popsány příčiny vstupu do zařízení. Součástí studie je také analýza pobytových služeb pro handicapovaného rodiče s dětmi v Ústeckém kraji. Pro výzkum byl využit design případové studie kombinovaný se zakotvenou teorií. Součástí výzkumu byly strukturované rozhovory s otevřenými otázkami. Provedeným výzkumem byla potvrzena potřebnost a přínos tohoto zařízení. Zjištěny problémy s financováním, nedostatečnou kapacitou a začleněním klientů v Ústeckém kraji nejsou poskytovány pobytové služby pro handicapovaného rodiče s dětmi.

Abstract:

This baccalar thesis treats about an asylum for disabled parents with children. The study case of the st. Vincent de Paul asylum evokes the necessity, benefits, financing, capacity and integraton of the clients into the common/major society after leaving the asylum. The reasons to integrate this facility have been described from the client's point of view. Another part of the this case study is also the analysis of the accomodation services provided by the Ustecky department for disabled parents with children. The design of a case study combined with theory have been used for the research. Structured dialogues with opened questions were also part of the research. The realised research have proved the necessity and benefit of the studied asylum. Due to the lack of capacity and integration of the clients, as well as financial issues, the accomodation services for disabled parents with children are genereally not provided in the Ustecky department.
