The Impact of the Covid-19 Pandemic and On-line Learning on Education

Abstract:

Teoretická část mé práce, rozdělená na pět kapitol, se věnuje příchodu pandemie covid-19 a změnám, které tento virus nečekaně nastolil v oblasti školství a vzdělávání a jakým způsobem se podepsal na životech nejen žáků a studentů, ale i jejich rodin a v neposlední řadě také učitelů. Pro přiblížení tohoto problému jsem se snažila popsat chod školství v průběhu pandemie a především i změny nastolené nutným nástupem digitalizace školství a přesunem studentů a žáků do online světa za použití digitálních platforem. Praktická část obsahuje popis mého výzkumu a zpracovaná data, pramenící z odpovědí dotazníkového šetření, kterého se účastnili ředitelé a učitelé základních a středních škol v mém okolí. Získaná data jsou vyobrazena pomocí grafů a mnou zpracovaných tabulek. Cílem tohoto šetření je zjistit, jaké poznatky nabyli učitelé základních a středních škol z online výuky vynucené pandemií covid-19 a jak nově nastolené situaci čelili. Závěr práce obsahuje shrnutí poznatků a zjištění, ke kterým jsem v průběhu práce dospěla.

Abstract:

The theoretical part of my work, divided into fivechapters, is devoted to the arrival of the pandemic covid-19 and the changes brought about unexpectedly by this virus in the fields of education and education, and the way in which it has taken its toll on the lives of not only pupils and students, but also their families and, last but not least, teachers. To bring this problem closer, I have tried to describe the course of education during the pandemic and, above all, the changes brought about by the necessary emergence of the digitisation of education and the transfer of students and pupils to the online world for the use of digital platforms. The practical part contains a description of my research and processed data, stemming from the responses of the questionnaireinvestigation, which involved principals and teachers of primary and secondaryschools in my neighbourhood. The data obtained is represented by graphs and tablesprocessed by me. The aim of this inquiry is to find out what lessonsprimary and secondaryschoolteachers have gained from online teaching forced by the covid-19 pandemic and how they have faced the new situation. The conclusion of the work contains a summary of the findings and findings that I have come to in the course of the work.
